Finance Access Lookup

The Finance Access Lookup, as demonstrated in the Budget Administrator training sessions, is being enhanced to distinguish between your viewing and purchasing authority in the new Finance System and buyND. Enhancements to the Finance Access Lookup will be available the week of July 5th on insideND.

Currently, the Finance Access Lookup provides users with a quick snapshot of the Fund and Organizations for which you are able to view in the new financial system. In some instances, users may experience:

• Incomplete or incorrect access listings
• Unclear error messages
• Confusion as to whether purchasing rights had been granted for the Fund/Orgs displayed.

We are modifying the lookup to address those issues above, as well as include:

• Displays of both viewing and purchasing access rights for each user
• Information updated on at least a weekly basis
• IFAS / Banner mapping of accounts
• Listing of up to 500 Fund/Orgs per user (up from the current level of 100 per user)

We believe this enhanced version of the Finance Account Lookup will provide users with information needed to transition to the new Finance System.
